TY 4 Stroke Master
I ended up bumping the speed of my kids srx once I was satisfied with his practice. I see there is a cheap kit on royal distributing for 10 bucks but I ended up doing something similar.
I took a zip tie to the one spring closer to the throttle block on top and cinched it tight. Also moved that spring from its current spot and hooked it all the way to the right side. I also ever so slightly increased the idle as well since it seemed low.
It's about as fast as I would want to have it for him now at this point before going further. Not sure about the adverse effects on the machine at this point but it's not like it's redlining by any means.

There's a lot of parts and things you can do to the 120's. My kids was running 33mph and still had more in it.
