Just installed new bushings on inside a-arms where they attach to bulkhead...just wondering how much play is supposed to be in arms after bushing install????After installing the bushings the play seems to be same as before old were removed...12000km's on original with minimal wear showing but I replaced because of mileage...anyone know???

If the bushings you put in fit tight, usually the only play you notice is the axial endplay of the A-Arm on the Bolt. The new bushings you put in should be tight becasue you said you did not wear through the old ones. So, ... To take the axial endplay out, grind off the lip on an old plastic cupped washer and add it in the stack to take up the play. If you did not replace the cupped washers on the A-Arms, then you may want to buy some new ones and put them in as is and cut the lips off the old ones. Sometimes you have to sandpaper them fairly thin to get them in there. But, once you add one of these, the slop is usually gone.

It doesn't sound like you replaced the bushings in the bulkhead itself. You may be seeing play due to this.
