Youse TY members get 10% off of $45.00 for my step pads or $40.50. This is also free shipping in the U.S.
If you are using paypal, just e-mail me so I can request your payment through paypal. I just had a TY member do this and it was pretty painless.
So basically e-mail me either here or through my website at info@cubbyscustoms.com to get your TY discount on the step pads..........Cubby

Cubby,
I installed my step pads and they fit & look great. Very easy to install and they seem very durable.
I see that you lowered your price since I ordered mine. If they hold up to my abuse they will still be well worth the $42.25 that I paid.

Here is an update for you guys. After about 1,000 miles of hard use this season, Cubby's step pads still look perfect and are still 100% stuck down.
These step pads are the real deal guys! This is truly a permanent solution to the rubbed off running board paint problem.

Yo, Blue Dave, Thank you so much for the update. So far I have sold about 20 pairs of these and they all seem to be working out very well for my customers.
They just are not flying off the shelf like I thought they would. I have 2 theroys on this: either the price is too high or not too many people care about the rubbed off paint mark on the running boards.
The price issue is tough one because the process used to make these is quite expensive and after shopping around is the best price I could find. If I used the first company I found to put the semisoft urathane on them these things would be costing you guys about 90 bucks a pair.
So if price is an issue and some of youse TY guys are on the fence about the price of these step pads, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Ask anyone on this forum, I am a fair and honest guy that will do anything for my TY brothers.
And by the way, Blue Dave, Check your snail mail next week for a letter from me.......................................Cubby

Cubby,
A picture might help. Not all of us know what step pad is.

Here are some pictures of my step pads I made to cover up the worn off paint on black Yamaha running boards.
You can get these pads from my website: www.cubbyscustoms.com

Guys, my step pads with about 1000 miles on them look just like the last picture above. Perfectly stuck down tight and 100% scratch free.
If you are anal about how your sled looks (like I am), you will want these on your sled if you have painted running boards!

Sweet, but are these the only size? I guess this is where most of the paint gets rubbed off anyway.

Blue Oval,
I thought the same as you at first, thinking that I would like to cover the entire running board. I suppose it depends upon how you ride and consequently where your feet are most of the time. In my case my paint was only worn in the area that the step pad covers.
Cubby can obviously speak to this better than I, but I am assuming that because of the high quality and subsequent high cost of this material that it would be cost prohibitive to cover the entire running board.
At the risk of sounding like I work for Cubby, I can tell you guys that these pads are of the highest quality and they will permanently solve the worn running board paint problem. Well worth the money IMO.
