hey, im considering buying a used 2019 SRX LE with approximately 1500kms, ive been searching on here and i know you only ever hear the problems on these forums but are the primary clutch's as weak as they sound?
Sled is in excellent condition but are there things that should be addressed with the 19’s?
Sled does have 2 more years of warranty remaining.
Any advice would be appreciated

Here are my opinions:
I own a 19 SRX and it is the real deal, however it needs a few things!! Once you ditch the tuner skis, it is the best handling winder built. The bikini windshield is a joke, however once you add a larger window sled is warm and comfortable.
The electronic suspension rides awesome and you can crank it up stiffer as the trails get rougher, however can be problematic. My module let go at 1500 miles and was replaced under warranty, but i had to ride all day with code flashing. Grrrrr
The clutches are the same as every other winder. Depending on whether you tune the sled or not will have some affect on how many issues you experience imo. I have switched to the Ultimax belt, and have had exponentially better luck than with the 8jp belt.
The track is designed for speed and is ok for trails, but powder riding it leaves much to be desired.
Last winter I had a 17 RTX and a 19 SRX. Both sleds stock, same day, same place, same conditions, (40 degrees and mealy) the SRX would pull 7mph more top speed. Thought it was the updated clutching so I swapped both clutches and belts. SRX with 17 clutching was still 7mph faster.
I think the 19 SRX is the best looking winder ever built and I get lots of thumbs up riding it. Iron out some of its deficiencies and it rocks! Good Luck!

I would’ve thought the turbo sled would go a bit faster than 7mph over the rtx...

Thanks for the honest reply, they are definitely the best looking sled on the snow IMO, i loved my old 2001 SRX, handled like crap but when you pulled the trigger you forgot all about the bad handing, first thing i will be doing is swapping the track out for something with a deeper lug for sure.Here are my opinions:

they both are turboed . The SRX sits 1 inch lower with a shorter lug track.

Yup..and that’s where the extra top end comes from..the 1” lug is great for top end, but no so much anything other than hard pack.

Wow, 7 mph is a big deal for just lower height and lower track lug height. I mean that is a lot. Almost like they knew what they were doing when they introduced the SRX back into the fold, and claimed it The fastest yet.
That lower stance must also make it a better handling sled. And yes to the best looking. Have seen a few on the snow, and those white accented components against that blue while on the snow, just really looks sharp.
That 19 would be my choice too of any other sled. But then again, any electronic functioning shocks or suspensions, have all caused problems in short order. Not sure how that function works, but I would hope that the design allows for hand adjustment also. You know, For when the electronic controls fail leaving one with what? Where last adjustment was at, or does it have a default that it goes to when it fails.
Friend with a Winder experimented with lug height last year. Just a huge speed difference between his 1.6” to a 7/8” lug.

And as for the questioned asked about clutch weakness. They aren’t the same old super reliable legendary Yamaha clutches, and as many have pointed out to me, these 3 cylinder 4 strokes are hard on primaries. Both of my clutches are still all stock components (added weight on tip)and only problem so far besides NOISE, was the primary spring which I just broke at 6300 miles. $17 to replace, and secondary rollers which failed very early, warrantied. I have been running mild tunes since about 1400 miles or so. Love that Max Spool 16 with 3 bar on my 17 LTX-LE.

SRX shocks cant be adjusted manually and when module let's go the shocks will stay where they were set last.
That is much better then automatically going to weakest or harshest setting when it fails.
