C&A pro skis: Razor or Outlaw vs. Stock

I'm looking to hear from guys who have switched to C&A Pro Razors or Outlaws AFTER they put some miles on the stock skis. How do they compare? Are they worth the $$? My Nytro pushes big time, so I'm trying transfer rod adjustment as well as limiter strap changes, but I don't want to dump money into new carbides for the stock skis if that's not going to cut it. If you have changed over, please state which C&A you went with, which carbides, as well as if you're running studs or not. Thanks alot!

Thanks for the tips, Swiss. I've already read all those posts/threads (before I started my own), and I was hoping that some of the guys who posted in them but didn't have any direct comparisons (some posted in July) had ridden some miles now, and could expand on their info. As far as Bounty and Reaper, maybe they've seen this thread..........

I had the stockers on my viper then went to the razors with 8" carbides from bergstrom, the difference was incredible. No darting, cornering was amazing, no pushing or anything. I loved them great skis. I got them over the summer so cheap and when i sold my stockers it was a cheap upgrade.

Yeah I had 192 of them in a camoplast 1" track. With the skis and studs the sled stuck to the trail even in icy corners. I will miss the handling of that viper.

I'm waiting to see how bad the stockers on the rx1 will be now. Probably be buying a set of C&A's next year...

a lot of guys fail to mention the dramatic increase you will get in steering effort.

harder steering effort=skis that dont push .they are only harder when you go slow.

razors work great on 4 stroke's or the xt.the outlaw are fine also but use a different carbide thats why i dont push them.the outlaw and xt are the most aggressive of c,a's.the xt is 7 1/4" wide versus 6" on the outlaw and other models.i run the xt and love them.

You cant have the best of both worlds all the time if you want to be real agressive thru the turn and not push you will feel it in the bars period.

Well with around 2600 miles on my ATTAK with C&A Pro Razors, I doubt if I ever will use any other ski. I like these ski's as THEY TURN reguardless of snow conditions, They are a bit stiff to turn but once you set up your sled they are a lot easier to turn.
