Has anyone contacted C and A (there not open today that's why I am asking) for recommendations on A ski for trail riding with the Apex?Which model would work best with the Apex.I ran A set of razors on my Firecat and really liked them a lot.
Thanks Chris

I run the C&A Extremes with 6 inch carbides. Night and day difference than the stock skis. More agressive, but can be tamed with a little shimming. Love the confidence in my ability to ride aggressive in the woods, turns awesome and does not dart! It also improved the watercross ride!!!!

I have the Pro XT's. They are pretty agressive and make the steering a bit heavier but overall they are way better than the stock skis.

Allright pulled the trigger on the XTX skis.Carbides still need to be aggressive?

The skis are pretty aggressive. How much carbide depends on the amount of traction you have in the back. If you are running a lot of studs then you will need more carbide to make the sled turn. I think I have 8 inches on my shaper bars on mine but I also have 192 studs to deal with. 6 inches shuld be fine for most applications.

Yep I agree, 6 inch with 144 pics on mine. The keel on the extremes is hugh though, need to adjust your strap and control rod to limit the ski lift.
