How are the conditions? I am due there on the 18th - 21st.

I am in Hayward - 20 miles south of Cable. There is one inch of snow. However, a snow advisory is in effect, and we are suppose to get up to 7 inches tonight and tomorrow. Cable should have a bit more. I usually drive north to Hurley to ride.

your gonna have to go all the way to hurley to find ridable snow...was just by there this weekend and hurley north is rideable

The snow starts about 5 miles east of the Bad River Casino on US 2. There is a large hill on US 2. There was about 8 inches of snow below the hill, and 3 feet above the hill near Saxon. I rode yesterday - they just received 18" of fresh powder in the Saxon area. As I rode east to Hurley, the trails became worse. However, there is a ton of snow east of Ironwood in the Bessmer area - great riding.

all the cable sites are saying the trails are shot. Not sure what we are going to do now. I need a cabin that 4 bdrooms. Damn, damn damn...
