Cadillac, MI

We just returned last night from Lost Pines Lodge in the area and rode for over 300 miles in 4 days since I had to work some of the time. The trails were the best I've seen since last December. There wasn't anywhere you couldn't go and the roads were great as well. In the Wellston/Irons area there was over 2 feet as was generally the case everywhere. The groomers even got out on some of the trails.
There's a slight warm up coming but there's plenty of snow. From Saturday night until we left yesterday over a foot fell during that time.

Just talked to ricks mom at lost pines lodge and she said they have 8 on the ground with a forecast of 4 inches more over night. Sleds are runnin hot outside

I talked to Ann as well and she said it's still snowing with about 10 inches on the ground and a fairly major storm for Sunday/Monday and LES just about every other day of the week until late next week. Maybe we'll have as good conditions as the first part of December. I hope so cause I'm heading up on Saturday.
See you at Lost Pines.

We're staying at Lost Pines and there is rideable snow. It's supposed to snow thru this afternoon with about 6 inches accum. Then tonight LES starts and is supposed to continue all week.
Yeah we're finally riding after 6 weeks of no snow.

Keep me posted. I plan on coming up Thursday.

I just got back home from 4 days of riding there. The trails are OK but need more snow. It was snowing pretty hard when we left at 7:30 AM but don't know how much fell. I heard they had some kind of Jeep rally the week before Christmas and they rutted the trails in some spots to beat hell. I would have stayed but had to get home. I would rate the riding a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. It will be very busy this weekend and may get trashed by Sunday if not enoug snow falls.
Hope this helps.
