Gents, I have an 06 Rage. I just cleaned it up after riding last weekend. Went to the garage to load it and found oil underneath. I had a cracked reservoir earlier in the year, but that isn't the problem. When I checked the oil, I notice a small plastic cap missing off the end of the dipstick (oil end). I removed the air box and started the engine to see if I could see any leaks. Oil was leaking (more like pumping) out of the larger hose that goes into the side of the small compartment(sorry I don't know what it is) in the air box. I shut it off and am going out to remove the reservoir and hopefully get the plastic cap out of the bottom of it. Question is, should there be oil pumping out of that hose if it isn't connected the air box. I don't see any other leaks. I was wondering if there was a chance the plastic cap inside the reservoir could cause this if it was restricting a passage.
