Hey guys I think Im going to extend my rails to 136" on my RTX and was wondering what you think of the backcountry camoplast track? Some say its lugs are too skinny and flimsy, etc. whats the real deal? Anyone like or dislike it?
Also, I wanted to make sure that 1.75" track will work if I take of the bars bellow the tunnel off!?
Anyone else use a 1.75" by 136" track that they seem to like better than the backcountry? From what I've looked at, this seems to be my only choice.
Thanks guys! Winters coming!!!

Try checking with Allen Ulmer Ulmer Racing - SRXSPEC. Pretty sure lots of threads to search thru on track changing and rail extending.

ALSO, will I have to change my gearing or clutching if I go with a 136" x 1.75" Backcountry with my '07 APEX RTX?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You will want to remove the tunnel protectors from the top of the tunnel and also the front heat exchanger protectors in front of the axle. Your gearing should be fine. You will likely have to remove some weight from your weights to maintain proper RPM unless you were over revving before.
