Just wondering if anyone knows or has replaced there none replacable bearing wheels with the new replaceable bearing wheels on the new mono II skid. Is it just a direct replacement or do I have to change to the new mounts as well???

If you are talking about the new spoked wheels they are a direct bolt on. I run those on my 06.

Thanks guys. New spoked wheels coming from Port. 6 idlers and 2 rear and 4th wheel kit - all black $216 before shipping.
I'd like to get my hands on the engineer that put non-replaceable bearing wheels on my machine.

As do most yamaha owners.... but you have to admit... if you were in the business of making wheels, this was a good business approach... "new bearing vs. entire wheel"... but for the consumer/user this was a royal pain in the A@%!!!!! but you wont have this prob again.... and the spoked looks wayyyy better...tttario said:Thanks guys. i would not spend all that money on 130mm wheels....135 wheels will cure so many problems.

Funny you say that Dan, I've always ran w/130mm without any issues, over 12.000kms on my '05 RX1 and now on my '08 APEX w/10.000kms I have over 6000kms on set of HYFAX and still measure 14-16mm in thickness w/original RIPSAW track w/closed windows...I have a real good set of SCRATCHERS for marginal or hard packed snow conditions.

You have no idea how happy I am to hear that you like those type of ice scratchers that I see in your picture!
I just ordered and received a set of them from Royal Distributing in Canada (couldnt find anyone carrying this style in the states...hmm, money making idea, lol).
They looked to me to be the best style to achieve complete snow/ice spray of the track & hyfax.
Your comments and picture just re-enforce to me that i made the right choice and they were worth the wait...thanks!

If you have the stock wheel mounts they're a direct bolt up. If you have Pioneers marginal snow wheel lowering kit they will not fit unless you remove some aluminum basically making the kind of squared edges more round.
