Can I safely Lift the front end via front bumper?

Is this safe, or will I damage the bumper or bulk head? I want to do my skid plate and new skis today.
 
Yeah, put it on it's side. You could always just have a friend come over and hold it up while you do your adjustments.....
 
I installed my skidplate with the front end lifted using the front bumper. I used a set of chainfalls and a nice wide heavy duty strap, along with a couple pullstraps for extra support.
 
Same I just jacked the front up and put the front end in the air, I have painted panels and there is no way i would put it on its side! :Rockon:
 
I lifted mine up by the front bumber...

I am sure it is strong enough, just like any other sled
thats what you lift on to manouver the front end around when riding or getting unstuck I mean
;)!
 
Thats what they are there for so you can lift the front of the sled oh yeah and if you hit something but I usually don't plan on crashing.
