Well i think im going to give my RX-1M a shot and add a holz suspension, exhaust, and the 05 clutching to it. The question is, do i want a 162 or a 166? I want to be able to go places that the 2 stroke 159's are going, and i want to be able to climb the larger hills.

What would you guys recommend? i want it to appear stock on the outside.

If the smartest thing to do is get a turbo and leave everything else stock on it, then thats what ill do. I wanted to keep it NA with a long track, but if Forced Induction is the only way, then so be it.

If you can swing it - put on the Apex Mtn track. The extra width helps out with floatation, and this track flat out works.

I have 275 miles on mine and I love the track. The Maverick is a great track IMO.

Another option would be the 15 wide Maverick (166)

You'll have no problems turning either of those tracks with a stock RX 1 motor.

I would recommend a re-gear when you do it. When I jumped up to 162" I dropped my gearing to 20/42 and love it in most situations. Holds rpm's well when climbing up steep hills with the 05' clutching.

I'm running the 16 inch maverick and it rocks. It'll climb with all my buds modded 800 159 pols no problem. 16 inch all the way

i would try riding a poo with a 166 on it didnt like it was very long feeling in the trees didnt mind the 162 but the 166 seemed long.i have the 162 mav & like it alot.

The new maverick track just works. It has a large footprint that helps hold the weight of the RX up on the snow. Then put a turbo on and you will go where your 2 strokes friends are going and then some.

Yes you can spin a 166, BUT if you do not drop and roll, and go to a skid that works, it will never climb. I suggest Ekholm tunnel and skid, not because I sell them, but because I have tried EVERYTHING else, and it is the best.
I have bought and/or tried M10, AD Boivin, Cat, Pol, Doo, havent tried Holtz or Mountain Magic skids. MM says theirs is flat out best there is for deep powder but maybe not the best on rough trails, extreme climbing and ditch banging.
Buy a supercharger, way less problems when the dealer sets it up for you, its not an on/off switch like a turbo, theres no run-on like a turbo, no throttle chop problems, no under hood heat, dont have to go into the engine, no BOV needed, on and on. I had a float bowl problem, solved.

I'd go with the Camoplast 162x16. Either the mountain or Maverick. The footprint is larger than the Polaris 166x15. The track works better for our snow conditions here in Colorado also - IMO.
I have the Holz rear - it is great.
