Can someone take a measurement for me - RS Venture GT/TF

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a RAM mount base that will clamp on to the windshield support bracket on an RS Venture GT/TF for the purposes of mounting a GPS, cell phone, etc. Can someone go out to the garage with a caliper and take a diameter measurement of the "rods" in that bracket for me? It's probably around 3/8th's??? A picture of that area would be most helpful also. Thanks and Merry Xmas!

PS - I ask because I don't even own the sled yet, but I'm shopping for one and doing some planning, lol!

Just went out to check for you.... 9/16"s, (14mm) on my 09 GT. I added a cheap mount but it fit a 1" bar. Wrapped some rubber strapping to make up the difference... worked well. Make sure you use proper rubber strapping, it will create some 'friction' when compressed.
