I'm thinking of getting some black shock covers for my 07 GT. Just wondering if shock covers will fit with the piggy pack resevior. I'm thinking it will but thought i would double check. Anyone got a picture of their GT with shock covers? Thanks alot, Jord.

I would hate to burst your bubble on the shock covers, but I would advise against them.

I know they look really cool, but they should be called "shock heaters" not "shock covers". They do a great job asthetically, and they keep out dirt, salt, and other junk ... but they really hold in the heat.

I had a set of them on my '05 Ski-Doo. After a nasty section of moguls, I checked the shocks, and they were so hot I could barely hold my hand on them. I took the covers off, and ran back through the same section of moguls .... The shocks were nice and cool.

You may not have as big a problem if you have the piggy-back shocks. But I would defintely keep an eye on it.

YES!
They were on my 06 GT last year in the pics below.
No heat build up running on the ice!

I guess it's the piggy back resevoir that still keeps things cool then.

going threw deep snow tends to get inbetween the springs and you dont want ice buildup on the shafts.. plus all that extra water weight
