Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is on an rx1?Can't find where it's located in my manual.

There are 2 of them. One on each of the fuel pick ups. You have to use a snake or coat hanger to fish them out of the tank to replace them. There is a squeeze clamp that holds them on to the hose.

Can they be pulled up through the fill hole (long enough hose)or do you need to take the pump out of the tank?

I was talking about a Warrior or RX-1. Yes you fish the lines out thru the fuel fill.
The fuel injected sleds have the filter where the fuel pump is. You have to disconnect the fuel lines and wires, and un bolt the plate where the pump is. Of course you have to take the seat off first. Jus be careful, the o-ring is tough to get back right.
