can anyone tell me where the numbers are on the secondary clutch, I took it apart to clean it and must have worn off the numbers, cant find them anywhere. now when I put it back together the belt is not going back up to the top on its own. I must have the spring setting wrong. I know its supposed to be 6 on the helix and 1 on the sheave, but I cant locate the number on the sheave. I looked for a wear mark on the secondary but I am not 100 % I have the right hole. Is there another way to make sure you have the right set up. twist angle of whatever when putting it back together

Don't worry that you wore off those numbers on the sheave when you cleaned it. They're located in a position where they are out of harms way, but are difficult to see especially if there's some belt dust residue build up that covers them up.

Here's a few pictures of where they are located. Once you remove the helix you can see the pockets that are cast into the sheave next to the pockets that the helix buttons are located in. I've circled these pockets in the pictures so you can see each number that is cast into the sheave pocket. Like I mentioned, these pockets collect a lot of belt residue so your numbers might be covered up depending on how well you cleaned it.

If your belt was riding near the top of the secondary before you took in apart for cleaning and does not ride all the way up after you put it back together it's more than likely that the sheaves aren't completely seated in the neutral position when you put the belt back on. It's sometimes tough to get the belt all the way to the top of the sheaves by hand. Try running the sled with the track off the ground to engage the belt and get both clutches shifting slightly. This will usually get the secondary to close all the way and get the belt riding back up where it should be.

If the belt is still riding too low after that you'll need to add some shims to the three small bolts on the back of the secondary clutch to achieve the proper ride height of the belt. Hopefully this will help you out.

thanks VX1R , I will take a look .
