i changed the bushing on the helix and secondary sheave, put it all back together and now the belt does not go all the way up to the top of the secondary clutch, I have the spring in the number 6 slot on the helix, I dont see any numbers on the fixed sheave, does it matter which hole the spring goes into on the fixed sheave. any help would be great

The holes are marked 1-2-3 in sheave. You have to look close to see the numbers. My 06 attak is a 3-3 setting, but I do not remember what the apex is. Hope this helps some.

Apex setting is #6 & #1. The belt won,t sit properly in the secondary unless you run the sled on a stand & let the secondary close on it,s own.

secondary clutchs setting 6 and 2 or 6 and 1
the manual says 6 and 2 setting , 6 on the helix and 2 on the secondary. I made two marks, one on the helix and one on the fixed sheave before I took them apart. Now cant get them to go together in the 6 and 2 position. If the setting is 6 and 1 that might work. can anyone else confirm the 6 and 1 setting for an 07 apex gt.

I can't confirm the setting, but regardless, either of the settings should work, that's the way it's designed.
Are you twisting the sheaves properly before closing them together? Sometime it can be a bear, it might help with some extra hands.
