When the sled gets warm it keeps pushing coolant out through the over flow hose until there is no coolant left in the reservoir when the motor cools off. So when I check my coolant when the sled is cold, ther reservoir is completely empty. You can just see a little coolant in the bottom of the tank where the hoses connect. Anyone else have this problem, or is this even a problem?

Sorry, meant to post this in the general section.
Yes this is normal mine does this exactly. I dont worry about the level when it is cold any more just when it is fully warmed up and it is half way when at operating temp. Mine are both rx1's mind you but basically same motor.

Check for bubbles in the coolant tank when engine is up to tempature. Sounds like a classic case of a leaking head gasket. My over flow bottle is always at least half full when starting up cold.
When my sleds are cold both of them the coolant is maybe 1/8 full.

If your sled is getting that warm you need to add extra cooling!!!

maybe an air bubble?

No head gasket leak. Cap seems to hold pressure well. I'll keep an eye on it when the engine is warm. Thanks.

My Attak is the same way..been like that since it was new..if I put in more it will go to about the 1/8 full mark and stay there. I don't know how it goes out and where but it does.
same with my oil ..it goes down the the 1/3 mark and stays. I find oil in my air filter so it must be too much in the tank and it blows out.
