Hey guys getting ready for the season and I noticed per the manual my carb float chamber air vents are missing these are the 2 t's in between each pair of carbs does anyone know how important they are because I think they have been gone for a while? Just wondering if I need to worry about replacing them?

Not really that important, the only thing I'd be worried about is dirt getting in to the line. With the tubing and the downward facing angle, its pretty much impossible.

I kinda figured its made to only allow air or pressure out so im not going to sweat it until some one tells me other wise. thx jdp
I am not positive but I believe these vents are to equalize the inside float bowl pressure with ambient air pressure outside the carbs so that fuel will flow into the bowls and not airlock so to speak. lol
