Bored to death tonight so looking over the pdf repair manual for the warrior. I never new there was electrical heaters in the carbs along with the coolant heaters. I was wondering if those can be a part of the hard warm start problems. Has anyone ever tried to unhook them, or do they only work at certain temps. Like I said never knew they were on there. Why would you need both of them. Maxdlx

I wasn't aware there was electric heat on the carbs either. The only wires I ever noticed on the carbs were for the TP sensor.
I added a shut-off valve for the carb coolant line on my '05 warrior, and it greatly helped the hard warm-start problem. You can get a small ball valve and a couple hose barbs at home depot for a few bucks, and it takes about 5 min to install.

I believe the heater circuit only works for short periods of time at initial start up if you want to experiment I believe there is A fuse for it just pull the fuse out.

I broke one of the contacts on carb# 2 when I last removed the carbs. No problem so far, started and ran fine, temps were in the single digits. Not sure if I should need to replace this.
