I was changing the jets today and while unplugging the carb heaters one broke. The dealership in town does not stock them and I am planning to ride tomorrow. My question is can I operate the sled with the broken one unplugged?????? I started the sled up and it seems to run fine. Can someone please respond if they have any input on these electric carb heaters. My other option is to try and JB weld the broken piece back together.

Run it, the carb heaters are for sub-zero conditions.

The electric carb heaters switch OFF when the low temp. warning light goes out and the idle speed drops.
I can't see how one not working will do anything any harm.

Thanks guy's, I thought it would not hurt anything. I did not realize they shut off when the idle changes after warm period....

Once the engine is warmed up, it uses engine coolant to heat the carbs, hence no need for electric heaters.
