carb shutoffs

have installed coolant shutoffs on my 04 warrior to try to help hot start concern,has anyone pladed withthe electic carb heater like installing a switch or removing the 20 amp fuse :roll:

I think that the electric heater only comes on when the light is blinking on the dashboard. Shouldn't make any difference to mess with it.
