Hey Guys,
05 RX-1 Mtn. I have a issue with setting my carbs.
Everything is cleaned and re cleaned. Synced aswell. It runs good at mid & top end but my idle is messed up.
I get the Rpms to stay at 14-1500. But when riding or burping the throttle it will hang at 3000for several seconds then drop down. Even if I shut it down and restart sled it will Rev up to 3000 and hang there. Hit the throttle couple times and it finally idles down.

I am not an expert for sure but have had the same issue with my 03. I found that the "Power Jet" usually sized somewhere around 70 played with idle settings much more than I thought it would. I ride at 8-12000' so know that my settings are for there.

I found that when I put a 65 power jet in it was very difficult to idle and had that problem worse. I found the 75 worked great at 8000 but when I got to higher altitude it was too fat.
You say you cleaned everything but did you change the 0-rings for the mains? Mine were in bad shape. Replacing didn't do anything for me but it always a thought.
