So I just got my sled back from being in storage for 5 months and the first thing i wanna do is put on my carbon fiber handguards. So i go and put the right one on and it looks really cool. I go and put the left one on and it doesn't fit! Its too small and doesn't cover the whole hand guard. So now i gotta send them back and stare at the 3 holes that I already drilled on the right hand guard. This sucks.

My advice is to not focus on all three holes at the same time. Stare at one for a bit and then move to the next. Do this is a clockwise rotation.

Are these Yammy handguards?
I'm having a little trouble understanding your post...the way I read it is that you are installing a hand guard over a handguard.

these are yamaha hand guards. The drilling of the holes has nothing to do with my issue. The carbon fiber hand guards do not replace the stock ones. They just cover up the stock ones. The left side hand guard is too small and does not cover up the whole hand guard evenly.

Ok here are the pictures. I installed the right hand perfect. Drilled 3 1/4 inch holes in them and put the clips in. The left hand side does not match up. Before anyone says anything along the lines "no no you didn't hold it up straight." I did!!!!!!!! Let me know what you guys think.

Perhaps it was a defect. Have Yammy get you another set.
