Carring extra gas on attak?

Have a 1 gallon Rotopax on mine. Riveted a piece of thin piece of aluminum underneath for support, then drilled and installed the mount. Didn't need turnouts. Ran it for 2 years no problem. I needed the extra gas a couple of times in Quebec.

Installed a Muffinworks extension last year when I extended to 144. It is thicker than the stock extension, so I simply drilled and installed.

Here's a couple pics of the stock tunnel ext.
That is perfect. {Duh never mind I see the note about stock extension} Always handy to have another gallon in Quebec. No matter who it is for.

Nice setup...wish i had the room on my 128"

Depends on the day. I have gotten the sled down to 5mpg in 3 to 4 feet of powder trail riding. I was pushing so much snow it wasn't even funny. I blew through 8 gallons of gas in under 40 miles... She was struggling to get through the snow thats for sure.. This was fresh powder on trail that fell over night in a freak snowstorm.

SnowBandit, that picture of the can is the same as mine but mine is 3 gallons.

If you go south out of where you are staying "The Place" is about 70-80 miles south. I just got off the phone with them. They are open and trying to get the permits to have a gas pump. That was the direction that I was telling you will be a problem. That is a nice ride going south. There is an Elk feeding ground down there that you can ride too. If The Place does not get gas you can fuel up at the Line Shack and make it down there and back to the shack. I still would not go that direction without extra fuel.
It is not fair that you are going to be there 6 weeks before me. Just saying.

Thanks Ratpack...

I am hoping there will be snow.. We will see still a bit warm out there in the high 40s right now.
