i pulled the motor my 03 mc rear mount to install the low comp pistons (15 lbs 300 hp and pump gas sounds good to me ) but i am thinking about get the full coating treatment for the motor , exhaust and turbo , so iwas just wondering if there was any one out there who has had any experience with this stuff?

I coated the wiseco pistons on my RX-1. $25 a piston & was cheap insurance.

jmo but I think piston coating is snake oil
If it was that good Yamaha would be doing it at factory. I would not do it.

I burned a few with my 2 strokes. It didn't seem to make any difference. Some think coating the header will cause it to crack.
Buckeye: I coated the header on my LP. It's still running strong for teh guy that bought it from me. Bob and Fred didn't coat their stuff but did wrap them. They have both cracked. The coating makes the stainless stronger.
