Chain Case

I see there’s an adjustment for the tension on the front of the chain case. How do you know if your chain has the proper adjustment?

Loosen the jam nut...Using your fingers only, lightly back off slightly then turn in until it stops without a great deal of effort.. Now back it out 1/8th of a turn and retighten the jam nut...Check your gear oil level while you are at it... MM.

Thanks! I just changed the chain oil. I used Amsoil. All I left is an oil change, A-arm bushings, carbides and off I go. Oh, I forgot, we need snow!
