so I have my chaincase all ripped apart, and will be changing my upper gear as preventative maintenance. I was just curious if anyone else has little knicks / chunks out of there reverse gear? It's nothing major and I would assume normal since this gear shifts over to mate with the other gear when going into reverse. I also feel a couple sharp burrs on the top of the teeth so may just lightly file them. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this and if it's normal.

Doesn't look too bad. My guess it would be normal since sometimes Yamaha's reverse doesn't lock in 100% of the time and it grinds.
