There should be a drain on the bottom ,allen bolt, under sled and chaincase.Mine was really tight so use a quality allen wrench.

It's just a bolt on my 03 (10 or 12 MM, forgot). Just use ATF in the thing, works great. It takes around 8.5 ounces I think. Again, all from memory of last year.

Should be a bolt inside tunnel behind chaincase.

That is correct

I just changed mine on my 04 Warrior with 7700 miles on it, going on my 4th season and I took the cover off to inspect the bearings and found that they where all well lubricated and looked like new

All I have to say is I've been using Mobil 1 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Oil from the first oil change to date

I also just had my 04 Warrior chaincase apart for inspection, and all was well. I also use Mobil 1 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Oil.

I use YAMAHA OUTBOARD GEAR OIL,thats what the dealer gave me.Works great but it turns dark after every season of riding and i change it every summer(flows better in the heat)

Not suprizing-I think anything slippery with a thickness somewhere between cooking oil and ketchup will work fine in the chaincase. It's just a chain thats lubricated by oil splashing around. ATF is cheap, easy to find and seems to work fine.
