you will need to take a friends srx/sx with blue on it to a place that mixes paint, most by now all have a computer that will take a picture sample and give a formula for the color. if you want it to just look like blue plastic, have it mixed in vinal color. this is used to paint interior parts on cars. i have even used it to paint letters on my seat.
this is a great, and only real cure for blue bellypans with white marks.

oh, and you can pick your gloss as well, flat, satin, or gloss(which is really not glossy like clear coat but looks like a dash with armor all on it)
for rough panels, go with satin. tectured parts that are painted gloss look fake.
companies are even selling vinal color in spraybombs now as well. that would be pure luck if they had the blue you wanted in that.

I talked to my dealer and he did'nt know if you could match the color, because the hood is made of blue plastic like a fender of a 4 wheeler. Its not like the apex where the hood was painted. If anyone finds out 4 sure please post it.

Just paint the hood and console too, should have been that way right from the start anyway.

I will be painting the whole kit-n-kaboodle. Don't want the white look when I bend up the plastic.
My shop siad they could match it, but it won't stay that way unless you armor all the plastic all the time.

Ride 4 Fun , was this a Blue Nitro OR White?
Anybody else I Was Wondering If Anyone Knows how much the decals would cost? Would the guys at the body shop know what your talking about when you ask about vinal paint?
I Wish Yamaha Would'nt have teased us with Maloniski's Sled With His Blue Panels, They Shold've Offered them at least on the blue sleds.
I Mean we are already paying 10grand!!!!

Plastic is at my local bodyshop, and have the Sikkens rep looking at it today. Will have an answer for you all in a day or 2.

O.K. here it is.....
The blue plastic on top can be matched, but will look different after fading, bending, and in different light. the reason is because it is transparent. He has the blue paint code for the Apex blue if someone wants it. Al my Plastic will be painted "my special color" for under $800. And we will be prepping and smoothening more because of the color I will be picking out.
