If you are about to change bushings, don't forget to order the 8 Bulkhead bushings. They do not show in the Tech Manaul and Pioneer's kit does not include them. Also, a few nylon washers may be needed, which also is not in Pioneer's kit. Why in the heck they only include 3/4s of the parts to do the job, one may never know! They do not even list the bulkhead bushings. If you can't get the nylatron for the bulkhead, why get it for the arms? So much for the whining! Now to the good info.
By the way, I have ~5K miles on my 04 Rx. All I ever did was spray silicon spray on these bushings once, maybe twice.
None of the bushings were worn through. The PTO side's A-Arms were very sloppy compared to the Mag side's. The bulkhead bushings were worn oval a couple of thousanths and about twice as sloppy as the mating Arm bushings. One of the nylon washers was roughed up pretty bad, but all 4 measured the same as new ones. The rear upper A-Arm bushing flange was worn super thin. The bulkhead bushing flanges were worn fairly thin. The bolts had no measurable wear.
Overall, even though the one ski was sloppy, the bushings probably had 1/2 of thier life left, except for the one with the super thin flange.
Tomorrow, I'll tackle the Mag side bushings and get er ready for when the bulkhead bushings come in next week. I may take a look at the spindle bushings too.
