Changing links and swaybar

Just unbolt old links, slide the bar out, put new in. Just take a little time to line up the links with each other on the splines.

Sway Bar Removal

You have to remove the Bolts from the links to get the bar out of them. The bar is grooved and the bolt locks it in.

There are little marks on each end of the sway bar for aligning it.

Your front end should be raised to relieve pressure.

There are 2 center point punches on each link and shaft. Watch closely how they come off, and install the new ones by lining the pricks up the same way. No prob at all.

I feel like a total idiot after installing, not even complicated for a good old Catholic boy. Only problem was that Yamaha in their devine wisdom took the line-up marks off the bar/link on the 04 model. No problem I lined up both at 6 o-clock and tightened.
