Hi, I tried to put on my new 2" Rox riser and on my 07 RTX with the 07 bars, turning the bars to the right caused the machine to rev up. I took off the riser and did some asking and searching and ordered an 07 Apex MTN. throttle cable. All the dealers in my area can't touch it for two weeks so I'll tackle it myself. :o|

Any helpful hints or suggestions would be greatly apprecicated!!! What needs to be taken off, any special tools? My buddy has an 06 RTX with the same riser but his stock riser is shorter but the bars have more of a upward bend? He had no issues with his and used his stock cable. Some work some may not. Cable should be here friday. thanks, Doug

I think some guys have moved the cable around and got it to work. That worked for me last season but this year I had TORS issues at full left turn. I had the dealer install a mountain cable. Didin't want to do it myself. Took them 45 minutes to do it so I figured I would at least double that time and lose some parts in the bargin. DO you have the service manual?
