How do you go about checking the charging system on a 06 Vector GT.
I drove the sled all day, & made different stops during that time. I turned
it off when I got home that night & the next morning it was completely dead.
Put a charger on it for 3 minutes & it started right up. I know it could be the
battery but I want to make sure before I spend 100.00 or so on a new one.

not sure about checking the system but it's possible that the battery can't hold it's charge anymore. maybe get it tested?
i know this doesn't help much.

In order to test the battery, you need a volt meter, start the sled up, place the ends of the meter on the approriate posts of the battery and see what the reading is?
If it is in the 14-15+ range then you know the battery is getting plenty of juice and is more than likely a defective battery.
If the opposite is true then it is more than likely your alternator/charging system that is defective/weak?
All the above is not necessarily the law as some other factors may be coming into play but for the most part, it is a pretty good indicator.

Thank's for the information. I will give it a try. Hopefully it will be the battery
that is bad.
that is bad.
Charge your battery fully with Optimate or Battery Tender, then check to see if the battery is good. Your sleds charging system is not capable of properly charging a low battery. Nothing to loose!
