All,

The silder buttons in my Nytro secondary were trashed so I started looking around for some new ones only to find they were $18+ most anywhere. I then looked at the buttons in the secondary on my '99 SX and they were the same. So I looked them up on ebay because my local dealer did not have any and I found these Yamaha buttons:

<http://www.ebay.com/itm/261318448483?item=261318448483&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OU:US:1120&vxp=mtr>

for $5.99 each or so I thought. I ordered (3) of them and ended up getting (9) total for around $28 shipped. The qty listed (1) on ebay which apparently means (1)pkg of (3) buttons. Next time you need some I would recommnend this seller as the price was definitely right and the shipping was quick!!!

But yet when I wanted to order new wear bars they were priced "EACH" I almost screwed up and only ordered one.. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. MM. :o|

aftermarket buttons tend to shear off or wear out faster than oe. had it happen a few times and now will only use oe as it almost cost me a helix and clutch 1/2.

you might want to edit the link.

I tried to run the SLP with no luck ended having to buy a new helix...stick with OEM .....

Same here, I have had the cheap ones simply fall out. Never again...go OEM even though they are still a rip off.

I just ordered 3 from Royal Distributing here in Ontario. $1.89 ea. Compared to $15.00+ each through Yamaha, with taxes would be over $50.00.Gouging B*&^&es. I cannot afford to support Yammi any longer. Yamaha can't even competitvely sell a tiny piece of plastic. They will get no more money from my pocket, a mans gotta eat. Cheers.

guys - these are factory OEM buttons. I think they have a million of them and just want to get rid of them which is why they are so cheap.

Grumpy -- go to the ebay site I put in my first post and you should be able to get them there.

did you read the guys ad on ebay? it says it replaces the Yamaha part # lower in the descrition, not it is that #. that is why I thought they where aftermarket. if they are Yamaha oe, great!

If they are indeed Yamaha OEM then great. If not you are in for a surprise. We tried them once on a Polaris XC. They made it a few hundred miles before ruining the helix.
