Marc.... Does the Biteharder tool fit inbetween the doubles or did you have to remove one of them to be able to sharpen the stud points properly....?
Also which Biteharder tool the standard one or the professional grade?
Thanks
Rob

You have to remove 1 of them. I have the standard and I've sharpened my 144 studs a couple times and its still working fine.

I'm also a cheapskate but sometimes it's because there's nothing on the market that I think is good enough. So I make/build my own.
For example, my belt guard is full-circle wrapping all the way around the back too. Most on the market only cover front and stop at the two bolts on the caliper housing leaving the back open. (Older pic).

I have used black adhesive either tape or carbon fiber Decal to cover prior hack job Mirror mounts on my Apex. I bought used and the prior owner had these terrible uselessly mounted mirrors on the side panels. Totally destroyed the Stock decals.....so after staring at it forever I decided I could continue some lines of black and maybe it would look ‘OK’. Well until I pointed the repair out no one had noticed it. New decals were >170$ per side, Black taper- 5$, that’s Cheap all the way to CHEAP SKATE.

Oh ya on my VIper, my nephew had a ‘Boo Boo” and ,bent and scraped a portion of the paint off the after market ‘cool’ bumper, so out comes the ratchet straps, dead blow hammers =>straight and Carbon fiber Decal and Black tape-in this case Electric tape stretched just right is the perfect match, I cant see it and no one has ever commented to me. I have to study and feel to find it. Again CHEAP.

Not my Sidewinder, still waiting for parts on that. Did a tail light hack and bolted this on. Was a box for old obsolete equipment that I cut down to size and re riveted it back together. Cheap and effective . Doesnt melt and things inside do not freeze. It is ugly but I am a cheapskate lol. And good storage is hard to find for a Nytro. I have about 2000 miles on this box, including a couple roll overs.
