Its not so much a secret as a prison sentence. Gotta be careful what you talk about, the laws in Canada (where I am) have changed somewhat in the last few years, and I'm afraid that free-speech is NOT a reality.
What we *used* to be able to do (wink, wink..), is bypass security measures on certain satellite tv reception hardware in order to obtain programming at no cost. Currently, I "hear" :wink: that DTV's current access card is uncompromised, but DishNet is apparently quite easy :twisted:

Sorry to dig up your past but I just had to ask. I get a chuckle in my helmet when riding the great white north and seeing a sat dish on a house than is barely aimed above the horizon. I wonder what that is about ???

Dishnet is very low (26 degrees in Toronto, imagine what that would be in newfoundland? Probably look to be pointed at the ground.). I think XC might be pretty low also.
