BACKGROUND STORY: I had a second 2003 FLOE open bed trailer (See FLOE trailer here http://www.ty4stroke.com/download.php?id=23442) tried to sell as an open trailer but couldn't. I guess nobody wants an open trailer anymore. :dunno:

So..I decided to put one of these Toy Carrier caps on top of the FLOE I have and now I have an awesome enclosed trailer along with the FLOE quick clamps. I have had 3 Aluminum capped trailers and have had minor problems with all of them leaking, lights out, rivets popping etc. I think its a great trailer and the workmanship is excellent.

These things are molded one piece very sturdy and NEVER leak. Fully secured and lockable and near impossible to scratch or dent. They make them about 10 mins from my house. Great alternative to Aluminum.

Check it out..... http://www.toycarrier.com

I'll second this on the Toy Carrier covers. I think it is the best setup going. Will take tons of abuse, very light weight and should last forever. I only have a single place but towing it full only costs me a couple MPG's and it's pretty aerodynamic. I just happened to take a picture of the 3 pieces today, since it was in the 60's.

How much less was it than the Floe cover?
No idea...how much are FLOE enclosures.???

FLOE only has 2 dealers in Canada near me. I bought the trailer in NY.

I don't know either. Just thought you might have checked. I have a '99 Floe trailer with cap, so its been a while since I checked. They are great trailers, but pricey.

Guys, the only ones they build are the one like mine and the single like Boomer's above.

For Pricing....you'd have to call them direct and find out for just the cap without installation. Make sure to ask for Darren. I'm sure you can work a good deal. If you guys are serious PM me.

Just an FYI....the entire cap mounted on a brand new Blizzard aluminum trailer here in Ontario sells for $3999 CDN ($3500 US).

Here is my double Toy Carrier. Nice part about this design is I can see the traffic behind me that's not possible with extended mirrors.

John, is thsi the same one you just sold?

Jim

I have had 2 toy carriers. The one I sold is the same as the one I posted in the top of this post. I now have a Single Toy Carrier that I am using. They are great trailers. I used to have the same one as IASLEDDER but I sold that one a while back. He's right....you can see down the middle which is nice, but if you get a big snow fall all the snow and ice gets stuck in the middle of the 2 covers and it's a PITA to get it out and close the covers.

Those are nice. I put a salt shield on mine this year. I have a sledbed 3 place, on/off.

I thought about it, but sure is nice to slam 3 sleds on because if you dont take a spare..you break down for sure. :o|

;)! I like the trailers guys!

You are right on the snow jam between covers. I carry a 1x4" for snow pushing, fits between covers resting on the deck. Clean out before opening, then open 1 cover and sweep out any remaining snow.
