Extreme
I just bought a 2 place clamshell trailer. It's a 2011. All aluminum except the axle. I undercoated the axle. Was looking at the underside and it had lots of "white dust" on the aluminum. Just normal oxidation. Has anyone ever undercoated their trailer? I know people with steel trailers have. What about aluminum? Just a thought. Thanks

How so?
I have used Rust Check under coating spray for years on all kinds of things, including my aluminum snowmobile trailer and I have never once had a problem.
Personally, I'd hate to see what it would look like now if I never sprayed it.

I spray any metal with rust check as well not sure how it could hurt it....

So on the aluminum frame, its not going to help or hinder really at all. It will just add weight.
But I wouldn't spray it on the wood. You load a snowmobile full of snow, and it warms up enough to melt. Normally that moisture would be absorbed into the wood, and some would drip out the bottom, some will evaporate. Seal the bottom up with undercoating and your wood is now going to be sitting in water for a LONG time! Seal the TOP up if you want it to live longer.

I guess you're referring to some type of coating like Zeibart SC?
Spraying something like Rust Check, Krown, or even a penetrating/lube type spray will not add any negligible weight at all.
When I spray mine, I use a can and go along the seams where the frame meets the plywood. I also spray inside the frame, around the lights, at the pivot point, my receiver etc etc, basically everywhere and like I mentioned earlier, the trailer is in great shape and is holding up very well.
