Auto Detailing is hobby of mine and I thought I would share some great products that I have used recently on my Nytro.

For the cleaning the painted plastics, I really like Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer. Removes fine dust, fingerprints, etc.. Giving the sled a just washed look.

For Cleaning the rubber & un-painted plastics parts of the sled, I just bought some Meguiar's #40 out of the their professional mirror glaze line. This leaves the plastics looking new, with no greasy feel. It conditions them perfectly. Much better than something like Armor All.

For giving the sled an easy wax I really like Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax:
It leaves no residues and is easy to get into the nooks and crannies.

For polishing aluminum on the sled I really like two products:
Meguiar's Hot Rim Mag & Aluminum Polish works very nice and makes the tunnel like chrome. Great topper after using Mothers. Its cut finer, so it really pops.

I also enjoy using Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. Great to start the tunnel using this and topping with Meguiar's. The Mothers is more abrasive than the Meg's so it works good as first step.

I will take some pictures of my sled to add to this post to show how well these products really work. These products are great for maintaining your sled once you have washed once.

All of the products above require a level of physical effort and time that exceeds my attention span. What have you got in the hose on, hose off category?

x2, lol........

What is good to get the dull finish look off from the tank and hood side panels. I have a dull finish look ever since I bought the sled.

It almost looks like the dealer during prep used a acetone type cleaner on the finish. My Attak had a nice deep shiny finish. This Nytro has more of a dull finish.

Just Wax it.. That's what I did and it helped alot. It's really a plastic and I believe it will really ever get so shiny, unless you want to paint it.

The nytro does come with a flat/matte finish to the panels. You can give them a light sheen while cleaning with the Meguiar's M40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner Conditioner. I used on it my sled and it gave the panels an added depth of black.

You can wax painted painted plastic with traditional waxes(liquid or paste). The only wax that I have found safe to use on the porous plastic(tank, sides panels) Is the spray nano wax by eagle one, or the ultimate quik wax by Meguiar's. The other types of waxes will white residue in the pores of the plastic.

I just use spray nine to clean them, but never really tried anything on the black panels to shine them up. I will not use armor all. All it does is collect dust and soon as it gets wet, it looks like crap..

Turtle Wax ICE on almost the whole sled. A bottle of that stuff should last 5 years on a sled!!!

Ice IMO is okay. Its a polish, so it does not offer any protection.

No but its easy as h$ll, leaves no white residue and the water does run right off of the plastic when liberally applied.

Mothers Back to Black works good. It cleaned up nice and left no residue.
