I washed the sled all up and used this product on the plastics called SC1 Polish, it is pretty awesome stuff!! I could use it on the tunnel to but was thinking it might be a good idea to put a nice coat of wax on there to keep it easy to remove the brake dust, I just wasn't sure what type of wax people have been using.

Liquitech Finish First is what I use. I'll be doing mine soon.

Liquitech LVR works great on the seat, rubber, and the black textured plastic. You will not slip and slide on the seat like Armor All.

I'll check out the SC1 for the plastic.

Started my detail process yesterday. The tunnel will be easy, but the running boards a different story with all the gripper teeth and multi layers.

I have the stickers off of the tunnel, but I wonder about the rear build date/VIN sticker. The VIN is engraved in the tunnel, but should I leave the rear sticker in place?

I'm with you on the rear sticker build date/VIN, That's the only one I left on but its ugly, I want to take it off too but cant decide if I should yet.
I will probably wait a year and then pull it off after the newness has been worn off the sled. lol

I took all the stickers off.

As a kid my old man would always kid me, "does Van Halen pay you to wear that shirt". I have been sticker shy ever since.

Rear sticker is the only one I left my tunnel is black and I wax it couple times a year still looks great

I took all of them off too. Changed my panels and hood, so those are now stickerless too.

I've got 2 applications of Liquitech Cycle finish on the tunnel, hood, dash top, and a-arms. Still working on the side panels, spindles, etc.
