Been looking for a used phazer and have come across a few fx's and an rtx. Basically I'm wondering if the floats are a huge jump in performance, or just slightly noticable improvment. Of course price is a factor and the fx is quite a bit cheaper than an rtx. Any differance in the rear suspensions between the fx and rtx?

I beleave the rtx has has a difrrent shocks in the rear two. The rtx will have al the bugs worked out from 07 fx already in place. The fox shocks are alot better in terms of proformance and wheght

Stock clicker shocks on an 07 FX are valved like junk.
Never rode a phazer w/ floats, instead use YFZ 450 front shocks with cross country race springs @ zero preload for trail use. This combo gives up hardly any travel, reduces the body roll, and lowers the sled so it handles decent. Might try the stock shocks this year with a re-valve.
Does anybody have success getting the clickers to work on their phazer? (If so, who re-did the shocks???)

floats are rebuildable and clickers are not from what i understand from my local dealer

my 09 rtx has the same shocks in the rear as the fx had. stock floats dont trail as good as the clickers did, floats do act more like a shock is supposed to in the corners - the clickers drop out a little in the corners if you run them soft and cause the sled to dive or be tippy in the corners. I put fett canisters on for this season to see if they increase the working stroke of the floats.

I like how they fasten to the shock body. Who makes them?
Did you use them on Floats or Float 2's?
