Heres a better photo of one installed on a clutch.The plate stays on the clutch all the time.And when you want to remove the belt just install crank and turn.It push's the clutch sheave inwards.Just that simple.Any questions let me know.Thanks

Just be sure to remove the thick washer before installing.
