I have an 2007 apex gt. When i release the throttle and the clutch disengages it makes a noise like the sheaves banging together, it not but thats what it sounds like. Is it a possible its a bad bushing? Any help would be great.

Normal, they do that from day one, brand new.

It could be a couple things. If your bushing gets too sloppy, worn out primary spring, I have seen weights wear, or dish, in one spot from ridding a continuous speed. How many miles on the clutch.

It doesn't seem like it would happen at 5,000 miles, but it would be worth taking the clutch cover off and checking things out.

Clutch noise is very normal in these sleds. As long as your RPMs havent changed. I wouldnt worry to much. As always, you should be cleaning and replacing any worn parts in the off season.
