can someone help witc clutch dissasembly. does the star piece come off ? i really need to polish the areas that the plastiv sliders move on .

Yes it comes off with the proper tools, torqued to 145 ft/lbs and left hand thread. Called the spider. If you don't have the tools I would take it to dealer or someone that has the proper tool.

hey,,if you dont want to take apart....take primary off sled wash it in hot/soapy water..useing a flexable bottle brush...works for me....spider great now..just after its dryed...check for anymore dirt..hope this helped...

Its not that hard to take apart. Make the tools you need and do it yourself. At some point it will need to come apart to do it right. There are plenty of posts on here to help you do this. Do a search and good luck.
