With 20k miles I'd probably check your offset, deflection, spring length, and for $2 from Royal Distributing as mentioned above, why not replace the buttons?

So now after a new secondary spring, buttons, belt, and another shim behind the secondary, the max rpms I'm getting are 7900 no matter the conditions. What could be the cause? I am thinking of putting the old spring back in.

What is your secondary spring setting? Sounds like perhaps it isn't wound correctly.

1 and 6. Replaced hyfax with Dupont ones. Hit 88 just now before running out of room but still at 8000. will it creep up if I run it longer?

Sheave Gap is 35mm even, deflection is perfect, primary spring is new soft start from BOP, bolt torque is to spec as is everything else. My buddy pointed out the bottom guard was bent up so that was why i was blowing belts. I hear slight whining from the chaincase hut it seems normal
