2013 Nytro shorty runnin trails studded, sled is all stock. Sea level.
It runs well and pulls hard but....
Now that she's broke in it shifts to 88~89 right off the bat and shifts out to 9050 WFO.
From what I understand the motor peaks at 8600 and overrev past 8800 or so drops off HP??
Without going to an Ulme ror SB full clutch kit, which I'm sure runs well, is there a simple approach to tweaking the oem clutching for a lil gain as in adding a lil clutch weight?
I would ef like to address the ridiculous low end harsh clutching...was thinking of 14.5 rollers/YPY spring or a SB comfort kit....would either of these approaches improve the clutching at all other than to smooth out engagement and low end belt grab?
Will either of these approaches on their own reduce finish rpm?
New to the Nytro and not sure this is the sled for me yet so I am limiting my mods this season to clutching after having studded it.
If I get comfortable enuff with the sled to keep it for another full season I'll look at a Hurricane setup.
Thanks
