Clutching baseline ,,,Hi there I have a 2017 sidewinder with hurricane 280 flash , Thunder products 911 cover and front spring and glide washers dalton adjustable weights , and thunder products secondary tough guy spring and hole shot 33/35 helix looking for weight recommendations .right now we don't have enough snow the test so my weights are just empty

I would take the 33/35 helix out.. It will over rev like crazy at the hit, if it is the race tune.. Probably will need something starting in the low 40's and ending in 35 to 37 range. I would guess in the starting range of 78 grams on the wts... Good luck !

I'd use the blk/blue Dalton spring with 76 gm weight .I have the 33/35 with 74 gm in my TD 270 tune ,it spins 9k .For trail riding the 33/35 seems to work good .If you use the blk/green drive spring your engagement will be around 3500 rpm ,with the blk/blue it's in the 3 -3200 rpm range

Would you happen to know the strength of that spring, I have TP orange

And would you put the weight in the tip or heel

On Daltons weight goes all the way in and don't use the longest weight in the kit first as they jam .blk/green =62/131 and blk/blue 53/133

If you choosee to use biggest weight, screw it all the way in, then back off 1/2 turn and it won't jam.
