Hey all, i am going to take my son and his 08 phazer mtx. to Laramie for spring break. I bought it from Kody at from Snowy Range Tours. i believe he set it up for my elevation (600-1000 feet). Wondering what i need to do so my 13 year old can ride it and have fun with it. I am assuming it only needs some clutch work.

Thanks, Ben

If it was clutched for low altitude it will have a rivet in BOTH holes on each of the 3 primary weights and possibly a 19 tooth upper chain-case gear. I know I had to ASK my dealer to set mine up for low altitude as they all come set for 6000+ feet from the factory which is a 17 tooth upper gear and NO rivets in the clutch weights.

thanks, i am going to call the guy I bought it from and see if he can help me. He left the gearing set up for high elevation and just added pin weight I believe...
